VFIS Chess Fest 2024 - An inspirational symbol for the sisu spirit
This morning, March 16th, 2024, Vietnam - game bai đổi thưởng (VFIS) is pleased to hold the VFIS Chess Fest 2024 with more than 350 participants who are students aged from 5 to 18 within Ho Chi Minh City. We are honored to welcome Dr. Nguyen Tra Giang, the Vice President of Vietnam Chess Federation; Mr. Hoang Thien, the Head of Training and Arbiter of HCMC Chess Federation; Mr. Tran Van Ly, President of District 7 Sports Complex - HCMC; MSC. Pham Thanh Anh Khoa, the Dean of Faculty of Sport Science in Ton Duc Thang University, and roughly 500 parents and teachers who have accompanied their students at VFIS Chess Fest 2024, which is the first time held by VFIS.
At VFIS Chess Fest, participants had a remarkable platform to showcase their passion for chess through a diverse range of activities. These included professional chess competitions for students across all grade levels, as well as opportunities to enhance their chess skills through expert guidance. In addition, students and their parents enjoyed various chess-based activities, providing a chance for relaxation and enjoyment. The VFIS Chess Fest was a vibrant and inclusive event that fostered a sense of community, exemplifying qualities such as enthusiasm, supportiveness, and camaraderie. It not only allowed students to connect, learn from one another, and refine their chess abilities, but also strengthened family bonds and fostered connections within the wider HCM chess community. These invaluable experiences provided inspiration for students, nurturing their personal growth and instilling practical life skills such as concentration, creativity, logical thinking, determination, self-discipline, and sisu. At Vietnam - game bai đổi thưởng , we firmly believe that these life skills hold greater significance for students' overall success than mere academic achievements, particularly in an ever-evolving society.
