Tet Tet Tet is coming!
While we were all disappointed that we had to postpone the Tet Fair and performances until later, VFIS staff gathered together on the last day of school to celebrate Tet with a group photo. Some teachers and teaching assistants also performed a dance to be video recorded and sent to VFIS families.
During the past few weeks, teachers and students have engaged in many Tet-related activities to welcome the Year of the Buffalo. Activities have included reading and writing poetry, making Spring cards, creating buffalo-inspired artwork and cooking Banh Chung. Let’s reflect on the past year, wishing it farewell, and open our hearts to Lunar New Year 2021.
From all of us here at VFIS, we wish you a Happy Tet Holiday full of joy and laughter. May the coming year be prosperous, kind and bountiful for our students and their families!
